And now a few words from me, Jackson:
Well I have moved around a few times in my life now, I want a forever home somewhere I can play all day!!! I am a bundle of energy&#;..my foster mom says I am like the energizer bunny&#;..I just keep going until I wear out. My foster mom is teaching me to be a gentleman as I am your typical puppy full of energy &#; I would be perfect for an active family who loves to hike and go for walks I LOVE going for walks! Gotta go my buddies are back from outside I want to see if they are into a game of tag.
My foster mom has a couple things to say ciao for now!
And now a few words from my foster mom:
Jackson is both crate trained & house trained, so no work needed in those areas. Jackson will require a family that has a fully fenced yard that is secure for him. He does have very good manners & he likes to please, so he's a quick study. Smart boy! Food motivated, so easily trained. Loves to be with you. Great on recall. He loves to play & snuggle, so I think that once he's settled in a new home he'd do just fine. He responds well with correction & re-directing of his attention. This little guy is character plus!
Jackson is a very sweet boy who loves to play! An active to moderately active home would make this little guy happiest now that he's approaching age 3!. He loves his walks and he loves to please his humans. Although he is good with children, due to his energy level, a home with older, respectful children would suite him best. He would do well in a dog savvy home with at least one other companion dog of similar energy to play with. He feels more secure with other dogs around since this is all he's known. He is extremely intelligent and has been easy to train. Jackson is obedience trained and knows a thing or two, such as high five, sit, down, come, stay, wait, off, treat, walk, daddy *he really loves his foster dad*, as well as others. Although he is food motivated, he will also respond to commands because as I said, he just loves to please. Jackson is a total goofball and will make you laugh with his antics and endearing qualities!. He is quite the character once you get to know him.
Once Jackson find his forever home, the new family needs to be aware that he will need a period of adjustment, just time to get used to his new surroundings and comfortable with his family. This time would be best spent with just his new family and not many visitors so he can learn the routines and not be overhwhelmed as Jackson is sensitive and will adjust better for the long term. This time will allow Jackson to bond and trust his new family. He will be an awesome addition to a family that can love and cherish him for the sweetheart he is!

You are not obligated to adopt if the fit is not correct, however we must go through this process prior to you meeting the dog.
